Talking about Touches with Peggy the Porcupine is an interactive, age appropriate program designed to teach preschool aged children about safe/unsafe touches and consent. Children will learn to recognize the difference between safe and unsafe touches from Peggy through her interactive coloring book with the guidance of Sexual Assault Program Staff. Staff will work with the preschool aged children on their level to relate concepts of safety, secrecy, and telling an adult to the student’s developmental level.
Teachers are encouraged to contact our education coordinator at (218) 749-4725 or by email at ec@stopsexualviolence.org to schedule a free safety educational session with their early childhood, preschool, or kindergarten classes.
